MAC Wrestling Championships Preview 2015 MAC Wrestling Championship Watch Live / Live Results: Columbia, Mo. The 2015 MAC Wrestling Championships will be held Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8 and hosted by the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. This season Missouri enters the MAC Championships as the No. 1 ranked team in the nation with a 24-0 perfect record, including 8-0 in the Mid-American Conference. Earlier this week, the NCAA announced the qualifier allocations for the 2015 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships and the MAC received 33 spots, the third highest of any Division I College Wrestling Conference.
The results of the MAC Wrestling Championships will determine which wrestlers will qualify for the NCAA Wrestling Championships in St. Louis March 19-21. The MAC had 41 wrestlers ranked in the Individual Rankings by RPI, including five wrestlers ranked in the top five with No. 1 Alan Waters (Missouri) at 125; No. 2 Drake Houdashelt (Missouri) at 149; and No. 5 Dylan Peters (Northern Iowa) at 125, No. 5 Lavion Mayes (Missouri) at 141 and No.
5 Jack Dechow (Old Dominion) at 184. Also, the MAC had 41 wrestlers ranked in the Indvividual Rankings by the Coaches' Poll, including eight MAC wresters in the top five with No. 1 Alan Waters (Missouri) of 125 and No. 1 J'Den Cox (Missouri) at 197; No. 2 Drake Houdashelt (Missouri) at 149; No. 3 Jack Dechow (Old Dominion) at 184; and No. 5 Dylan Peters (Northern Iowa) at 125, No.

This year, the MAC has been granted the third most automatic qualifiers in the country, including six berths at 197 and five at 149. The MAC received four berths at heavyweight and 165, along with three berths at 141, 157 and 174. The champion and runner-up at 125 and 184 will earn the automatic bid, while only the winner at 133 will make the trip to NCAA’s.
